I have combination skin…I keep breaking out on my T zone.

I have combination skin…I keep breaking out on my T zone.

I keep breaking out on my T zone, and every time it happens I realize it’s because I’ve been treating my whole face the exact same way.

I always forget that my skin is basically two different skin types at once. Oily on my T zone, but dry on my cheeks.

So this is me reminding myself again 🫢

I need to treat my T zone like oily skin, and treat my dry areas like dry skin.

Different areas need different things.

When I use heavier creams all over, my pores start clogging.

When I use lighter gel textures everywhere, my cheeks feel tight and dehydrated.

It really comes down to balance.

And honestly, I’m kind of grateful I have both skin types. It helps me understand both sides when I’m recommending products to you.

When I say I test products, I really test them.

I try them on my oily areas.

I try them on my dry areas.

I layer them.

I switch routines.

Sometimes it’s amazing. Sometimes it breaks me out 🥹 That’s just the reality of trying so much skincare.

There’s definitely a lot of trial and error. Hits and misses. But that’s also how I learn what actually works and who it works best for.

I genuinely love exploring ingredients, textures, and how skin reacts differently from person to person.

So if you’re still struggling with your skin, please don’t feel shy to reach out. I’m always happy to share what I’ve learned and help however I can 🤍
