💡 SKINCARE ADVICE JUST FOR YOU
1. ☀️ Sunscreen Is Non-Negotiable
• Please wear SPF every single day—even when you're indoors. Unless your home is completely dark, UV rays can still reach your skin through windows.
• Reapply every 2–3 hours, especially when you're outside.
• If you’re not consistent with sunscreen, dark spots won’t fade, no matter what products you use.
FYI: Dark spots can take 6–12 months to lighten up depending on how deep they are—longer if you’re older. Without SPF, they may never go away.
2. 🔄 Adjust Based on Your Skin’s Needs
Your routine doesn’t need to be the same every single day. Instead, listen to your skin:
• Dry skin day? Skip retinol and stick to basics.
• Oily skin day? You can use retinol.
• Sensitive day? No serums—just cleanser, toner, moisturizer, and SPF.
It’s your first time trying this kind of routine, so it’s important to get to know your skin and adjust as needed.
3. 🧼 Cleanser Recommendations
• Salicylic acid cleanser is great sometimes, but it’s too drying for daily use.
• I recommend alternating with a gentler cleanser to avoid stripping your skin.
4. 🧽 Cleanse More Thoroughly
• If you’re getting small bumps, focus more on cleansing.
• Take your time—don’t rush.
• If you wear makeup, use a makeup remover or oil-based cleanser before your regular cleanser.
5. ⏳ Application Timing Matters
• Always wait for each product to fully absorb before applying the next one.
• If you don’t wait, your skin may just mix the layers, which leads to clogged pores and bumps.
✅ IN SHORT:
• Use less amount of products and please please give it time to absorb.
• SPF every single day—no exceptions!
• Alternate with a gentler cleanser to avoid dryness.
• Follow your routine based on how your skin feels that day, not a fixed schedule.
• Focus on thorough cleansing, especially if you wear makeup.
• Take a break from serums—just stick to toner, moisturizer, sunscreen, and cleanser until the bumps calm down.
EVERYONE REACTS DIFFERENTLY, AND RESULTS DON’T HAPPEN OVERNIGHT.
CONSISTENCY MATTERS—AND SUNSCREEN IS KEY TO SEEING ANY RESULTS.
